There have been a lot of request for this recipe on comments box, so I thought let me share an easy recipe paneer butter masala with you all, this is a really quick and easy recipe,

Ingredients:  Paste

  • TOMATO र 4 NOS.
  • GARLIC न 8-10 CLOVES.
  • GINGER1 INCH
  • CORIANDER STEMS  2 TBSP
  • GREEN CHILLI  1 NO.
  • KASHMIRI / DEGI RED CHILLI POWDER  1.5 TBSP
  • CORIANDER POWDER  1 TBSP
  • CUMIN POWDER  1/2 TSP
  • CASHEW15 NOS. (SOAKED)
  • Paneer sauteing

  • OIL  1 TBSP
  • BUTTER 1 TBSP
  • PANEER 500 GRAMS (CUBED)
  • SALT  TO TASTE
  • KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER A PINCH

Final Cooking:

  • OIL  2 TBSP
  • BUTTER  1 TBSP
  • WHOLE SPICES
  • CUMIN SEEDS 1 TSP
  • GREEN CARDAMOM  3 NOS.
  • CINNAMON  1/2 INCH
  • BAY LEAF  1 NO.
  • GARLIC  1 TBSP (CHOPPED)
  • GREEN CHILLI  1 NO. (CHOPPED)
  • ONION  3 MEDIUM SIZED (CHOPPED)
  • TURMERIC POWDER  1/4 TSP
  • KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER  1/2 TSP
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • SUGAR A PINCH
  • HOT WATER AS REQUIRED
  • BUTTER  2 TBSP
  • ROASTED KASURI METHI POWDER  A PINCH
  • GARAM MASALA  A PINCH
  • FRESH CREAM 3-4 TBSP
  • FRESH CORIANDER AS REQUIRED (CHOPPED

Paneer butter masala no matter which ever dhaba or restaurant you visit, you can get quite a lot of varieties of it usually and Restaurant dhaba they make a lot of base gravies, there is a monthly gravy onion tomato masala or also known as chop masala, there is white gravy and yellow gravy so these gravis are mixed in varied proportions and combination with a little spicy and a little sweet adjustment, different recipes are made as you go to different places the paneer Butter Masala will keep changing,

And there may be some variation in its recipes, now for paneer butter masala basically there should be paneer butter and masala spices in it, but if you make it in chop masala or bhuna Masala then it will become paneer bhuna, it’s a gravy is orange or yellowish tinged the one that I make is an orange gravy,

but the recipe that I am telling today is a quick recipe you don’t need to make any gravy, and you don’t need to make a lot of fuss or even do much of shopping, bhai simple and quick method paneer Butter Masala will be ready, And it’s result are mind blowing,

So let’s see how to make this recipe quickly without too much preparation,

1. Here I am using a mixer grinder jar and we will add 4 tomatoes, 8 to 10 cloves of garlic, 1 inch Ginger, I am adding 2 table spoon coriander stem, here and one green chilli, one table spoon Kashmiri or degi red chilli powder, 1 table spoon coriander powder, half teaspoon cumin powder, here I have soaked 15 cashew for 20 minutes you can boil them for 5 minute too, we will remove the water and add the cashews, now you have to blend all these ingredients nicely without adding any extra water to it, now our masala I have blended it to fine paste,

So here we have finished almost whole preparation for paneer butter masala, no need to make any gravy just blended everything together in a mixture grinder, anti didn’t need to make ginger garlic paste or cashews paste or tomato Puree separately, we have blended everything together and our preparation is done, Now we just need to toss the paneer, and this gravy that we blended in the mixer grinder we have to cook it with some onions,

3. So here I am using a fry pan and we will add one table spoon oil and one table spoon butter and heat it up slightly and now I have added half kg paneer cut into cubes here, and we will add a little salt to taste, add A pinch of Kashmiri red chilli powder, and we will mix with light hands or toss it,

3. So that the paneer does not crumble, cook the paneer for two minutes by doing this step the paneer holds its structure nicely, I have tossed the paneer now transfer it to a bowl and keep it aside until it’s gravy is being made,

4. So I am using the same fry Pan and we will add two table spoon oil and one table spoon butter and let it heat up slightly, now we will add one table spoon cumin seeds, 3 green Cardamom, half inch cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf, one table spoon chopped garlic, and we will add one chopped green chilli and stir it nicely, now we will add 3 medium size chopped onion, in this and you have to saute these onions on medium High flame until they are light golden brown in colour,

5. When the onion are light golden brown in colour than lower the flame and we will add 1/4th table spoon turmeric powder, half table spoon Kashmiri red chilli powder for colour stir it well then we will add is splash of hot water and cook the spices for 2 minutes,

6. Once you have cooked the spices and we will add the gravy that we had blended earlier and we will add salt according to taste and we will add A pinch of sugar to balance the tartness of the tomatoes, And we will stir everything together well, now you have to cook this gravy on medium High flame while stirring for 10 to 15 minutes, since there is cashews paste in it the gravy has a tendency to stick to the bottom,

7. So you have to keep vigilant for just 10 minutes, kuda masala for 10 to 15 minutes on medium High flame while stirring, until the gravy leaves the sites of your pen and its start releasing some oil from it, so friends after 15 minutes how the gravy has nicely thickened,

8. And it is living the sites of the pen and the oil has released as well, at this stage add some hot water to adjust its consistency, and add hot water and stir well and cook this gravy for 3 minutes, one cooked taste it for seasoning and adjust the salt and sugar as per taste,

9. Then we will add the sauteed a paneer here, and after that we will add to table spoon of butter and A pinch of roasted kasuri methi powder, one pinch of garam masala, 4 table spoon fresh cream, and we will let some freshly chop coriander leaves hair gently stir it to avoid the paneer from crumbling, just mix it lightly and cook it for 2 minutes now a sprinkle some more freshly chop coriander leaves on top and you can see that your paneer Butter Masala is ready and let’s play it,
